Our History
Cornerstone Schools was established with a commitment to providing quality and accessible education to children and young people in the Kakuma community and the surrounding region. From its foundation, the school has focused on creating a supportive learning environment where learners can develop academically, socially and morally. The school continues to grow with the needs of the community, providing education across ECDE, Primary, Junior School, Senior School and Secondary School levels. As Cornerstone Schools continues to develop, our commitment remains firmly rooted in providing quality education, nurturing talent, developing character and preparing learners to make a positive contribution to their families, communities and society.
Leadership
Cornerstone Schools is guided by a dedicated leadership team committed to providing effective educational leadership and creating an environment in which both learners and teachers can thrive. The leadership team works closely with teachers, parents, guardians and the wider school community to promote academic excellence, discipline, good character and the holistic development of every learner. Leadership Team Director – Provides overall strategic leadership and direction for the school. Principal/Headteacher – Oversees the academic and administrative operations of the school. Deputy Heads – Support the administration and coordination of teaching, learning and student welfare. Heads of Departments – Provide academic leadership and support teachers in delivering quality education.
